SIM identifiers

SIM ID

The SIM ID is Hologram’s unique primary identifier for a SIM card. You can find this ID across dashboard, but for a single SIM you can find it in the following locations:
  • SIMs pages tables
  • SIM details page header
  • SIM details page on the Status in the Connectivity status card
  • SIM details page on the SIM and device tab within the SIM details card

eUICCID (EID)

The eUICCID, or “EID”, for eUICC-enabled SIMs is a 32 digit identifier, and can be found on the SIM and device tab, in the SIM details card.

MSISDN

The MSISDN is the unique phone number for a SIM card used for IoT communications and messaging. You can find it on the SIM and device tab, in the SIM details card.

Profile identifiers

ICCID

The ICCID is the unique 18-22 digit identifier for a connectivity profile. Each SIM can have multiple profiles installed, and each profile has its own ICCID. We refer to the ICCID of the currently enabled profile able to use data as the “Enabled profile ICCID”. You can find ICCIDs in the following locations:
  • SIMs pages tables (enabled profile ICCID)
  • SIM details page header (enabled profile ICCID)
  • SIM details page on the Profiles tab within the Profiles card (all installed ICCIDs)
  • SIM details page on the Profile history card (all historically installed ICCIDs)

The Link ID is Hologram’s unique identifier the connection between a SIM and profile on a SIM card. This ID is commonly used in API calls. You can find it in the following locations:
  • SIM details page on the Status tab within the Connectivity status card
  • SIM details page on the Profiles tab within the Profiles card

Device identifiers

Device ID

The Device ID is Hologram’s unique primary identifier for your device. You can find this ID in the SIM details page, and it is often used in API calls. You can find it in the following locations:
  • SIM details page on the SIM and device tab within the Device details card
  • SIM details page on the Status in the Connectivity status card

Last known IMEI

IMEIs for devices are provided within session data by networks and carriers. We provide the last known IMEI for a device when able, but carriers and networks do not provide IMEI information for every session. You can find the last known IMEI in the following locations:
  • SIMs pages tables
  • SIM details page header
  • SIM details page on the SIM and device tab within the Device details card
The IMEI TAC is the TAC prefix for the IMEI, if available. You can find it on the SIM and device tab within the Device details card.
