How can I transfer ownership of an organization
In order to transfer the ownership of an organization to a different user, first make sure that that user is added as collaborator on the organization in question. Once the desired new Owner is a collaborator on the organization, the current Owner must email support@hologram.io from the email that owns the Hologram organization you want deleted following the template below. Note: Requesting a transfer of ownership will not update your billing information or transfer your SIMs from either Dashboard. You may take those actions within the desired Dashboard, after access is granted.
How can I transfer ownership if we no longer have access to the owner’s email?
If you no longer have access to an organization owner’s email address, you must follow this process so that Hologram can verify that you are the owner of the email address and domain.- Add a TXT DNS Record on the business domain associated with the owner’s email address. For example,
hlgresearch.comfor a an owner address of ofkiera.bennett@hlgresearch.com.`
- Set the TXT record to
holoadmin=owneremail@yourdomain.com
- Reach out to Hologram’s support team at support@hologram.io and request a transfer of ownership. Provide the domain name, email address, organization ID, and confirmation that you have added the TXT record using the template below.
- Hologram’s support team will verify the TXT record was added within 24-48 hours using a DNS service.
- Once this is confirmed we can proceed with the transfer of ownership.
