Transferring SIMs is a great way to organize your team’s device deployments and consolidate organizations. Since SIMs belong to organizations and not users, transferring a SIM effectively transfers its ownership.
Before you transfer a SIM, you must be a member of more than one organization, and both organizations must have access to the device’s current data plan. If you need to transfer a SIM to a new owner, they need to create a new organization, add you as a collaborator, and give you Admin access so you can transfer the devices to their new organization.

How to transfer multiple SIMs

  1. Navigate to the Active SIMs page in your dashboard.
  2. Select the SIM(s) you want to transfer. You can transfer up to 10 SIMs at once.
  3. Open the Manage SIMs menu and select Transfer to organization.
  4. In the Transfer devices to organization modal, select the organization you want to transfer the device(s) to from the list of organizations you are a member of.
  5. Click Transfer devices to complete the transfer.
To transfer more than 10 SIMs at a time, use the REST API.
