How to simulate a message from a single SIM

Find the SIM

Open a SIM from the SIMs pages or using global search.

Open the SIM actions menu

Click the Manage SIM menu at the top right of the SIM’s details page.

Choose Simulate message to API

Choose the Simulate message to API option.

Enter message details and send

A modal will display where you can enter route topics and payload data.

After successfully submitting the form, the Activity drawer at the bottom of your dashboard will open to show your message. If you want to see all the routes triggered by this message, make sure All activity is selected in the console filters. Activity drawer showing simulated message
Note: You can replay a previously logged device message by clicking the Simulate button from any outbound message row in the Activity console, which will pre-fill the simulate form with that message’s data.
